Mango [Mangifera indica]

Mango [Mangifera indica], or known to Malaysians as mangga or mempelam. This is from the species known as 'Harum Manis' one of the delicious species. My father planted it in the back of the house.

On the way to my fathers' house, good view of the mango trees. On the way back i got shots of 'bangau' [Egretta eulophotes, Egretta garzetta, Bulbulcus ibis] in padi field. These migrating birds came the most during this season because the warm climate.

Just 8 days later, the seed are nearly growing all over. Padi fielders still worries the rain, this it could wash away the seed. By the way, all my photos are taken in the backyard of my fathers' house. He is padi fielder himself. I've grown here but he seldom let me follow him to the padi field, my junior days can be counted the day i went to help him in the field. But i saluted him very much, he gave the best he can for me. Thanks, dad.

This Is my Next Effort

Taken on 22-04-2007, padi fielders' just finished grinding the soil. They began to spread the seed to the soil but the rain poured down to water the field. Now they worried if the water to much for the seed to grow. Some open their water lane to drain a little bit of the water.
